Organization settings
Organization settings control workspace-wide defaults for your Chatevo tenant — name, timezone, notifications, and security options.
Who can access
Section titled “Who can access”Only admins can edit organization settings. Editors and viewers can view some read-only fields. See Roles and permissions.
General
Section titled “General”| Setting | Purpose |

| Timezone | Timestamps on dashboard, audit feed, and reports |
| Default plan | Current tier — change on Billing → Plans |
Set timezone during Complete profile or update here when your team moves regions.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”Configure email alerts for:

Tune frequency to avoid alert fatigue on high-volume orgs.
Security

| Credential policy | Only admins create secrets in the credentials vault |
Chatevo encrypts credentials at rest; secrets never appear in the widget or visitor API.

Multi-tenant note
Section titled “Multi-tenant note”Each organization is an isolated tenant: separate assistants, knowledge bases, Qdrant collections, billing, and team. Users can belong to multiple organizations with independent roles.
